Abstract

November 2016, Sukoharjo experienced inflation of 0.54 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 123.23.

Inflation occurs mainly due to an increase in prices, which rise in the CPI (inflation) occurred in six groups, namely the foodstuff by 1.99 percent, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.47 percent, health group at 0, 43 percent, the clothing group by 0.22 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel inflation by 0.02 percent, and transportation, communication and financial services by 0.01 percent. As for education, recreation and sport does not change the index / relatively stable.

Some commodities experienced price increases in November 2016 include: onion, red pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic, pecel, green peppers, white cabbage / cabbage, green beans, bean sprouts / sprouts, gado-gado, repellent mosquito, pasta gear, wet shrimp, cucumber, melon, cigarette filters, water tariff, batik shirt material, and moisturizers. While commodity prices decline, among others: rice, chicken meat, cement, red snapper, eggs, bark, cooking oil, sugar, iron and concrete.

The inflation rate in the calendar to the month of November 2016 inflation of 2.01 percent. The magnitude of the rate of inflation "year on year" for the month of November 2016 to November 2015 amounted to 2.99 percent.
