Abstract

In February, 2017, Sukoharjo experienced inflation of 0.41 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 125.55.

Inflation occurs mainly due to an increase in prices, which rise in the CPI (inflation) occurred in all groups, the highest inflation occurred in foodstuffs of 0.76 percent, and inflation was lowest in education, recreation and sports by 0.04 percent ,

Some commodities experienced price increases in February 2017 will be: cayenne pepper, electricity tariffs, the pulse rates of mobile phones, rice, spinach, red onion, green beans, corn, kale, mustard greens, carrots local, cooking oil, cigarettes, gold jewelry, cucumbers, pears, glasses plus and minus, and gasoline. While commodity prices decline include: red pepper, chicken, eggs, beans, white cabbage / cabbage, bark, watermelon, green peppers, grapes, oranges, and cement.

The inflation rate in the calendar to the month of February 2017 inflation of 1.56 percent. The magnitude of the rate of inflation "year on year" for the month of February 2017 to February 2016 amounted to 3.64 percent.
