Abstract

In October 2017, Sukoharjo District experienced inflation of 0.02 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 126.41.

Inflation is due to price hikes, where the rise of CPI (inflation) in five groups, where inflation occurs in food, beverage, cigarette, and inflation, inflation by 0.24 percent, and inflation in education, recreation and sports by 0.03 percent. While deflation in the foodstuffs group 0.26 percent. Meanwhile, the health group did not experience changes in index / relatively stable.

Some of the commodities that experienced price increases in October 2017 were: rice, red chili, green chilli, wall cat, beans, sweet tea, milkfish, filter kretek, white cigarette, concrete iron, chicken meat, cayenne pepper, and motorcycles Commodity goods, onions, vegetable, carrots, bean sprouts, spinach, kale, and green beans. Garlic, brick, orange, salak, grape, banana, onion, vegetable, carrot, bean sprout / sprouts.

The inflation rate of calendar year up to October 2017 inflation was 2.26 percent. The year-on-year inflation rate for October 2017 against October 2016 was 3.14 percent.
