Abstract

In March, 2017, Sukoharjo deflation of 0.14 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 125.38.

Deflation occurs mainly due to the price reduction, the reduction in the CPI (deflation) occurs in two groups, namely the foodstuff by 1.69 percent, and transportation, communication and financial services by 0.14 percent. While inflation occurred in four groups, with the highest inflation occurred in the group housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.57 percent, the lowest inflation was in the health group 0.11 percent.

Some commodities experienced price declines in March 2017 will be: chili, red chili, green chili, pulse rate phone, potatoes, chicken, tomatoes, eggs, carrots, white cabbage / cabbage. While commodity price increases, among others: filter clove cigarettes, bricks, milk for infants, apple, electricity, ceramics, citrus, squash / Jipang, beans, kale.

The inflation rate of calendar year until the month of March 2017 inflation of 1.42 percent. The magnitude of the rate of inflation "year on year" for the month of March 2017 to March 2016 amounting to 3.00 percent.
