Abstract

In June 2017, Sukoharjo Regency experienced inflation of 0.74 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 127.19.

Inflation was mainly attributable to price increases, where the rise in CPI (inflation) occurred in all groups, where the highest inflation occurred in the foodstuff category, which was 1.44 percent, and the lowest inflation was in the health group, by 0.03 percent. This happens because in June 2017 coincides with the fasting month and the Eid Mubarak

Some commodities that experienced price increases in June 2017 are: garlic, electricity tariff, inner city transportation, beef, papaya, onion, filter clove cigarettes, carrots, pecel, parking rates, rice, spinach, kale, potatoes, White cabbage / cabbage, wall paint, chicken meat, chicken meat, wet prawns, presto milkfish, avocado, melon, cooking oil, tea, T-shirts, gold jewelry, striped notebooks, inter-city transport, and mobile phone charges. While the commodities that experienced price decline include: cayenne pepper, red pepper, orange, green chilli, eggs chicken, salak, washing machine, chicken egg, tl / neon lamp, and cough medicine.

The inflation rate of calendar year up to June 2017 inflation was 2.89 percent. The magnitude of inflation rate "year on year" for June 2017 to June 2016 amounted to 4.35 percent.
