Abstract

In November 2017, Sukoharjo regency experienced an inflation of 0.21 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 126.68.

Inflation was mainly attributable to price increases, with the rise in CPI (inflation) occurring in six groups, where the highest inflation occurred in the foodstuff category, namely inflation of 0.61 percent, and the lowest inflation in the health group by 0.01 percent. While the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in index / relatively stable.

Some commodities that experienced price increases in November 2017 are: rice, eggs, chicken, household fuel, brick, vegetable tomatoes, oranges, red peppers, white cabbage / cabbage, watermelon and bean sprouts. While commodities that experienced price decline include: long beans, wall paint, green chili, wine, chicken meat, salak, garlic, cooking oil, spinach, and cucumber.

The inflation rate for calendar year up to November 2017 was inflation of 2.47 percent. The year-on-year inflation rate for November 2017 against November 2016 was 2.80 percent.
